Bellapuppies does not accept returns on any puppy unless there is a documented medical reason that makes it impossible for the owner to keep the puppy. An example of this would be a severe allergy to pet dander, confirmed in writing by a licensed medical professional.
You must notify Bellapuppies within 72 hours of taking your puppy home if a documented medical condition prevents you from keeping the puppy.
If a return is approved for a valid medical reason, a $500 restocking fee will apply.
This fee helps cover the time, care, and costs associated with rehoming the puppy and is non-negotiable.
We do not accept returns for changes in lifestyle, housing issues, financial reasons, or personal preference.
If you find yourself in a situation where you must rehome your puppy for non-medical reasons, Bellapuppies offers a rehoming service to help ensure your puppy is placed in a responsible and loving home.
The rehoming service fee is equal to half of the original purchase price of the puppy.
This fee covers the time, screening, care, and resources required to properly place your puppy.
Bellapuppies does not guarantee a timeline for rehoming but will make reasonable efforts to assist.
By purchasing a puppy from Bellapuppies, you acknowledge that you are making a long-term commitment to your new companion.
We strongly encourage all buyers to carefully consider:
Their lifestyle and schedule
Financial responsibility
Housing restrictions
Long-term care needs
Purchasing a puppy should never be an impulsive decision.
We recommend Hill’s Science Diet Puppy Food for proper nutrition and growth.
For small-breed puppies prone to low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), we recommend keeping one of the following on hand:

To help reduce anxiety during the transition to a new home:
Snuggle Puppy toys are highly recommended
KONG brand soft plush toys are best for small-breed puppies
Always supervise playtime and avoid toys with small or detachable parts.
Bellapuppies certifies that each puppy is in good health at the time of sale, to the best of our knowledge. All puppies are:
Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations
Up to date on deworming protocols
Health records will be provided at pickup or delivery.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to continue:
Booster vaccinations
Routine deworming
Regular veterinary checkups
To qualify for a replacement puppy under our health guarantee, all of the following conditions must be met:
A written diagnosis from a licensed, independent veterinarian stating that the puppy has a hereditary or genetic condition that will significantly shorten its lifespan
The veterinarian’s contact information must be included
Documentation must be submitted directly to Bellapuppies
In the event of a puppy’s passing:
A veterinary autopsy report must confirm a genetic defect as the cause of death
Full documentation and veterinarian contact details are required
Bellapuppies does not cover veterinary costs, testing, or diagnostic expenses.
The health guarantee does not include:
Reimbursement for veterinary bills or testing
External parasites (fleas, ticks, ear mites)
Internal parasites (worms), which are common in young puppies
Stress-related or environmental conditions, including:
Hypoglycemia
Coccidiosis
Giardiasis
Minor respiratory infections
These conditions are common, treatable, and are not grounds for replacement.
Bellapuppies does not guarantee:
Adult size
Coat color or texture
Temperament
The buyer is responsible for providing their puppy with:
Proper nutrition
Fresh water
Safe shelter
Routine veterinary care
A loving and attentive home
While Bellapuppies takes every step to ensure puppies start life healthy and well cared for, ongoing care and well-being are the responsibility of the owner.
